The hotel is only 25 short minutes from downtown Austin and 35 minutes from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maintenance Technician to join our exceptional team at a competitive pay rate ($16-21/HR DOE) including benefits (401k, PTO, Vacation, Holiday and Health Insurance) for Full-Time associates.

The Maintenance Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring that the property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to customers and employees.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize work orders through urgent requests, respond to guest room calls as required
• Complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance procedures.
• Heavy interaction with all departments of the hotel
• Adhere to all hotel safety standards
• Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by supervisors
• Assist other departmental craft workers as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Respond to guests needs promptly
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Trade school and/or College course work in related field helpful
